About Us
STAR Services was founded in 1998 to meet changing needs in the disability field. We recognized that families, providers and staff needed a resource to find help with their questions, training for staff and assistance with understanding the complexities of running a business in the disability field. STAR Services assists individuals, families, residential providers, vocational programs, schools and government agencies. Whether you need support on a single project or issue, or would like our assistance on a longer term basis, we can provide you with qualified, knowledgeable assistance. STAR Services offers a variety of services to meet the needs of our customers. We offer temporary staffing solutions ranging from planned absences to last minute crisis needs. STAR offers consulting services for all areas of your disability business including: program support, new business start up, licensing assistance, human resources, marketing, finance support, professional writing assistance, and other needs your agency may require. We offer trainings designed for Direct Support Professionals as well as professional development courses for greater understanding of topics pertinent to the disability field.
Our services are as individual as the agencies we work with. We will work collaboratively with you and your staff to offer our assistance in the method that will work best for your agency. We can either do a specific task for your agency, do the task while teaching you and/or your staff how to do it, or simply train and mentor staff to gain the ability to do the task on their own.
