Understanding the Millenial Generation Workforce
Understanding the Millenial Generation Workforce Angie Hart, Operations Director/QMRP/QDDP Wednesday, August 4, 2010
Are you having a hard time connecting with your new coworker? Have you noticed younger workers have different workplace expectations? Generation Next, Generation Y, Net Generation, or Millenial Generation are all terms used to describe the newest generation in the workforce, a generation of texters, tweeters, and instant messengers. Individuals who were born between the years of 1979 and 2000 are finishing school and making their way into your organization.
In this three hour course, we will discuss the experiences that have shaped this generation’s unique outlook and expectations. Through lecture, discussion, and question and answer, we will identify how to work successfully with the Millennial Generation and discover the potential that this generation brings to the workforce.
Audience: From entry level to management, this class will benefit any individual looking to better understand the changing workforce and create positive relationships in the workplace.
Cost: $55.00
