STAR's staffing service provides quality Direct Support Professionals for staffing needs in the human services industry. STAR Direct Support Professionals work to support children and adults with disabilities at different locations including:

STAR Has Two Direct Support Positions:
1) Direct Support Counselor - This position offers total flexibility. You choose where you want to work and when you want to work. This position can be either full-time or part-time.
2) Direct Support Specialist - With this benefit earning position, you can work part-time or full-time. You give us your availability, and we will match you with assignments that meet your needs.
We Offer Flexibility and VarietyIf you need work that has flexible schedules and variety, we've got it. Mornings, weekends, day and evening, we have open shifts at all times of the day. You decide when you are able to work. STAR Services provides staffing for people with a range of disabilities and needs at different locations in the seven county metro area. This gives Direct Support Professionals the chance to work with different types of people in a variety of settings.STAR is a company that is committed to its employees' growth and development. In addition to initial orientation classes, STAR offers classes and internships for staff interested in further developing their skills. All Direct Support Professionals receive orientation training designed to meet the licensing rules and regulations for disability services including:
- Medication Administration
- Alternative Intervention Techniques (AIT)
- First Aid
- CPR
- A Day in the Life - a detail of initial orientation duties for direct care staff
- Lifting and Transferring
