We
offer trainings at our location in St. Paul, Minnesota at convenient
times including morning, afternoon, evening and weekend classes to meet
your staff’s scheduling needs. We customize our topics to offer half
day, full day and multiple day training options, at an affordable
price, for your agency. Whether you are looking to train your own
staff and incorporate a teambuilding approach or would like to
collaborate with other area providers to pull resources and bring
training to your city, we would love to work with you to design a
training that meets your needs. Please visit Training & Education Opportunities for information on upcoming
trainings and classes.
STAR is proud to
offer the Designated Coordinator Development Program (DCDP) to train
your lead staff, managers, Designated Coordinators, QMRP’s etc. This
training is designed to teach the ins and outs of the 245B Consolidated
Standards. Please visit the DCDP page for detailed information and upcoming starting dates.
With Foundations for Success,
we offer our education services classes at a variety locations within Minnesota
including: Rochester, Moorhead, Marshall, Brainerd, and Duluth throughout the year.
Our
professional development trainings differ from the generic trainings large,
national companies offer because they tailored to Minnesota rules and
regulations and are taught by trainers who have direct experience with the
topics they teach. Trainings include examples and practical applications for
the situations staff will encounter in residential, vocational, in-home or
educational disability settings and they are designed so your staff are
prepared to take the knowledge they gain back to their workplace and apply
it. Our Course Directory contains descriptions of our training and education services classes. Please see below:
